Turing's Anticipation of Connectionism

Connectionism is the emerging science of computing with networks of artificial neurons. Few realize that Alan Turing wrote a blueprint for much of the connectionist project as early as 1948, in a little-known paper entitled 'Intelligent Machinery'.
